  • Powered and submersible pumps may be used for high level water extraction.
  • Portable extraction units and truck mounted units efficiently remove water.
  • Germicides, Anti-Microbial Treatment & Sanitizing Agents.

  • Products to deodorize eliminate residual odors from excessive moisture.
  • Disinfectants hinder the growth of potentially harmful microbes such as bacteria and fungi.
  • State of the Art Drying Equipment

  • Industrial dehumidifiers remove all vapors, minimizing secondary water damage.
  • Specialty equipment prevents property damage such as swelling/warping of structures.
  • High speed air circulators create airflow across all surfaces to evaporate remaining moisture.
  • It is important to remember that certain situations demand special drying techniques that only training and state of the art equipment can facilitate.
  • Fire Damage

Soot and smoke damage appear to be identical, however we at Spartan EMS know how important it is to distinguish between the two. Soot residue can be oil-based, which makes it exceedingly difficult to remove from absorptive textures such as carpeting, upholstery and fabrics. This residue which results from “puffbacks” must be treated with the proper actions or irreversible damage may occur. Leave it to the Pros at Spartan EMS.

    Mold Remediation

Mold is notoriously prolific, and certain types have been identified as toxic to human health for hundreds of years. Mold proliferates through microscopic airborne spores, which act similarly to seeds. If a mold spore lands on a wet surface, it can grow and release more spores, spreading quickly and can be potentially catastrophic to health. There are seemingly infinite variations of mold, but none of them will grow without moisture.

In some instances, basic molds that are caught early can be removed by the homeowner. However, professional inspection and judgment may be necessary in certain instances, such as if there are immune-compromised individuals present. In most cases, it is impossible to completely sterilize an area, as nature has created mold to be so resilient that no matter what some level of trace spores will remain, however they will not grow if the moisture has been resolved.
